Like Skyrim With Guns is an Internet-based meme that originated during 2012. The meme is a box quote for Far Cry 3 from Machinima in which they state that "Far Cry 3 is Like Skyrim With Guns." Many people were mad about this quote as they feel that the Fallout series fits that exact description instead.

Adam Kovic, a former employee of Machinima actually said the quote during an E3 interview for Far Cry 3. He later clarified in a video that he did not mean what he said literally and did not mean for all this outrage to happen. However he stands by his statement by saying that Skyrim has the same mechanics as Far Cry 3.
It was also revealed on KnowYourMeme that Kovic tweeted nonchalantly if Ubisoft should use his quote.

In 2013 an indie game called Superhot released. Surprisingly Kotaku called it "Braid with Guns" which caused more outrage too.
