The Great American Cross-Country Road Race is a racing game for the PC and Commodore 64 made in the 80's by Activision.

Gameplay:[]

The game puts the player in the position of a driver of a high-performance car, racing across the United States while passing through its major cities. It is known for having several obstacles that the player must watch out for, such as weather, road conditions, and gas refilling.

Players were given the option of choosing their routes from city to city, allowing them to, for example, take a northern route through the snowy Midwest. Every route had its own scoreboard for the top five fastest times to complete each route.
